Each of the four videos comes with a High Impact Behavior flyer and poster, which can be used as a handout or put up on the wall to remind learners about the effective, efficient, and immediate actions to support breastfeeding in their department.
This curriculum fulfills Baby-Friendly USA 2016 revised criteria for the education of ancillary departments as outlined in Step 2.
The content of the videos is customized to target the specific care provided by pharmacy, anesthesia, radiology, and other ancillary services in the birthing center such as housekeeping and social work.
Each chapter leads with why the learner should consider changing behaviors and approaches to better promote and support the issue featured in the video.
Each video features three high impact behaviors — effective and efficient behaviors, specific to their department — that the learner can do right now to improve outcomes.
