Bianca Nash-Miot, IBCLC, CD

Bianca is a birth and breastfeeding advocate focused on improving health equity for moms and babies in Black communities around the country.

Bianca’s commitment to providing community-based, comprehensive birth and lactation services for pregnant, postpartum, and lactating families in apparent in all her roles. She is a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Educator, Child Passenger Safety Technician, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant serving the Southwestern Michigan area.

Bianca owns and operates Birth Queens and Milk Queens, an organization created to support and empower families through their birth and breastfeeding experiences. Its work centers Black and Brown folx to reclaim traditional practices and heal generational trauma. Birth Queens and Milk Queens provides childbirth and breastfeeding classes, birth and postpartum doula services, virtual individual and group breastfeeding support, and lactation consultations. It also offers educational training aimed at helping professionals understand how to equitably support the families they encounter.

As a trusted community leader and partner, Bianca is a birth and lactation activist in spaces in Michigan and across the U.S. She can often be found training, educating, and support birth workers as a Program Coordinator and Instructor with the Commonsense Childbirth Institute. Bianca is also a proud partner of the Michigan Breastfeeding Network.

Within QI-TRACS, Bianca is Community Organizer for Ascension Borgess Hospital and the Kalamazoo community.
