COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP COORDINATOR

Caitlyn White, MSN, MPH, CPNP-PC

Trained as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Caitlyn has always worked to enhance maternal and child health by applying her skills in a clinical setting. As Coffective’s Community Partnership Coordinator, Caitlyn has expanded her work from direct patient care to improving care access and health equity for all people.

Caitlyn was initially attracted to Coffective’s coordination approach to systems change, and saw how she could play a role supporting communities in achieving common goals. As Community Partnership Coordinator, Caitlyn provides technical assistance, resources, and content expertise to local organizations for community coordination and engagement efforts. Caitlyn is especially inspired to help others find new ways of working together to give families the best outcomes.

Caitlyn has spent the last six years as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a variety of clinical settings, including working newborn and special care nursery, urgent care, and in pediatric nephrology. Currently, Caitlyn also works as a Medical Consultant at NYU Langone Health where she collaborates with various members of the healthcare team for children involved in the CPS system in New York State.

Caitlyn has recently earned her Master of Public Health degree from Brown University with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. During her time at Brown, Caitlyn was a Clinical Intern for Rhode Island KidsCount, a public health advocacy program focused on child health issues in the state of Rhode Island. There, she participated in data collection and analysis, public health advocacy, and grant writing. Caitlyn graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to her graduate studies, Caitlyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Alabama – Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Clemson University with an emphasis in Nutrition and Dietetics and a minor in Psychology.

Having moved 15 times, Caitlyn loves exploring new places, trying new food, and meeting new people. Her favorite places include New York City and Nashville. She’s recently adopted a bloodhound-husky mix puppy, Cooper, who keeps her company while working from home.
